DUI Assessment
DUI assessments are among the most common and important activities a chemical dependency professional will perform. By law, all convicted DUI offenders are required to get an assessment. The assessment is a critical intervention opportunity for DUI offenders. Its purpose is to fairly and objectively evaluate the person's involvement with alcohol and other drugs. The results of that assessment will determine whether the person needs to complete Alcohol and Other Drug Information School (A/DIS) or be referred to treatment for substance abuse or chemical dependency.
